Spring Bean Supper

  • West Windsor Historical Society 1023 Vermont 44 Brownsville, VT, 05037 United States (map)

This year marks 90 years of Baked Bean Suppers. This tradition began to raise funds for a new church steeple and now raises funds for WWHS and SCIP (School & Community in Partnership). Most important of all, it’s a celebration of community and an opportunity to share a meal with neighbors and new friends.

2025 will be a sit-down, community style supper with a menu of baked beans, hotdogs and kielbasa, potato salad, coleslaw, green salad, rolls, and home-made pie. Take out is also available. Cost for this fundraising feast is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors 60 and up and for kids 5-12. Kids under 5 years old eat for free. In addition to the standard cash or check options, we also accept credit cards via a QR code on site.

Service is first come, first serve, until the food is gone or until the last people seated at 7:00 pm are finished. We hope to see you with us at this community celebration!

If you want to get involved, you are welcome. It takes dozens of pie bakers, bean makers, salad constructors and dish washers to put these suppers on. Sign up at WWHS and SCiP: Brownsville Baked Bean Supper May 17, 2025
